Tuotantoa is the partitive singular form of the Finnish noun tuotanto, meaning production. In economics and industry, production refers to the process of creating goods and services by transforming inputs into outputs. The scope covers all stages from resource extraction and manufacturing to delivery and after-sales service. Broadly, production can be categorized into three sectors: primary production (natural resources and agriculture), secondary production (manufacturing and construction), and tertiary production (services).
