tunurile
Tunurile, often referred to as cannons, are a type of artillery weapon that uses the explosive force of gunpowder to propel a projectile. Historically, tunurile were a significant development in warfare, allowing for the destruction of fortifications and the engagement of enemy forces at considerable distances. They typically consist of a barrel, usually made of metal, mounted on a carriage or emplacement. The projectile, often a solid shot, explosive shell, or canister shot, is loaded into the muzzle of the barrel, followed by a charge of gunpowder. When ignited, the expanding gases from the gunpowder push the projectile out of the barrel at high velocity.
The development of tunurile spans centuries, with early forms appearing in China and later evolving significantly
