Teratomas are rare, non-cancerous growths that can contain a variety of tissues, including hair, teeth, muscle, and even fully formed organs. When a tumor contains a well-defined, organized structure resembling a functional organ—such as a tooth, a section of the gastrointestinal tract, or a primitive lung-like tissue—it may be described as having a tumororgan.

These structures often arise from germ cell tumors, which originate from embryonic cells that have not fully differentiated. The presence of a tumororgan does not necessarily indicate malignancy, though some teratomas can develop into malignant forms, particularly if they contain cancerous elements.
