A tuludeklaratsioon, often translated as income declaration or tax return, is a document submitted to the tax authorities by an individual or entity detailing their income, expenses, and other relevant financial information for a specific tax period. In Estonia, this is a crucial part of the annual tax process. The primary purpose of the tuludeklaratsioon is to calculate the amount of income tax owed or to claim any applicable tax refunds.

The process typically involves reporting various sources of income, such as wages, salaries, rental income, capital gains, and business profits. Deductible expenses, such as certain work-related costs, education expenses, and housing loan interest, can also be claimed to reduce the taxable income.
