Tsistoskoopilise refers to a diagnostic procedure known as cystoscopy. This medical examination involves inserting a thin, flexible or rigid tube with a light and camera attached, called a cystoscope, into the urethra and then into the bladder. The cystoscope allows the urologist to visualize the lining of the urethra and bladder.

The primary purpose of a cystoscopy is to diagnose and evaluate various conditions affecting the lower urinary tract. These can include urinary tract infections (UTIs) that are recurrent or do not respond to treatment, blood in the urine (hematuria), urinary incontinence, bladder pain, and urinary stones. It is also used to investigate blockages in the urethra or bladder, or to detect abnormalities such as tumors or polyps.

During the procedure, a local anesthetic is typically administered to numb the area and minimize discomfort. The cystoscope is then gently inserted. The camera transmits images to a monitor, allowing the doctor to examine the urinary tract in detail. In some cases, biopsies can be taken during a cystoscopy if abnormal tissue is observed. After the examination, patients may experience mild burning during urination or a small amount of bleeding, which usually subsides within a day or two.
