Trükiformaate, also known as printing formats, refer to the various sizes and dimensions used in the printing industry to standardize the production of printed materials. These formats are crucial for ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compatibility across different printing processes and equipment. The most commonly used trükiformaate are based on the ISO 216 standard, which defines a series of paper sizes that are proportionally related to the A series.

The A series begins with A0, which measures 841 x 1189 millimeters. Each subsequent size in the series is half the area of the previous one, achieved by cutting the paper along the shorter dimension. For example, A1 is 594 x 841 millimeters, A2 is 420 x 594 millimeters, and so on. The B series is derived from the A series by rotating the paper 90 degrees, resulting in a different aspect ratio. The C series is similar to the A series but with a different starting size, and the D series is derived from the C series in the same way the B series is from the A series.

In addition to the standard sizes, there are also non-standard trükiformaate used for specific purposes, such as posters, billboards, and packaging. These sizes may vary significantly from the standard formats and are often defined by the specific requirements of the printing job. Despite the variety of trükiformaate, adherence to these standardized sizes and dimensions is essential for the efficient and effective production of printed materials.
