Trzeciorzdowych is an adjective form used in Polish to describe things associated with the tertiary, the historical term for a broad third division in two main fields: geology and economics. In everyday usage, it often appears in phrases referring to time periods, layers, or deposits dated to the old Tertiary period, as well as to service-oriented economic activities.

In geology, trzeciorzędowy describes rocks, sediments, and fossils attributed to the Tertiary period, roughly spanning from about 66 to 2.6 million years ago. The term appears in older Polish literature and regional surveys as in utwory trzeciorzędowe or warstwy trzeciorzędowe. In contemporary science, the Tertiary is usually subdivided into Paleogene and Neogene, and the explicit term trzeciorzędowy is less common in new publications, though it remains encountered in historical contexts and in some classifications still used in local geology.

In economics and social science, trzeciorzędowy refers to the tertiary sector, which includes services such as trade, finance, education, health, and tourism. The form trzeciorzędowych can appear in constructions like branże trzeciorzędowych usług or udział branż trzeciorzędowych, when describing multiple service industries or their economic share.
