triangulációra
Triangulációra, which translates to triangulation in English, is a fundamental geometric concept with wide-ranging applications. It involves determining the position of a point by measuring angles to it from two known points. This creates a triangle, where the two known points form a baseline, and the unknown point is the third vertex. By measuring the angles from each known point to the unknown point, and knowing the distance between the two known points (the baseline), trigonometry can be used to calculate the distances to the unknown point and thus its exact location.
The principle of triangulation is used extensively in surveying to map terrain and establish property boundaries.
