tracheobronchiale
Tracheobronchiale refers to structures and conditions related to the trachea, commonly known as the windpipe, and the bronchi, the airways that branch off from the trachea into the lungs. This term encompasses the entire lower respiratory tract involved in conducting air to and from the lungs. The trachea is a cartilaginous tube that extends from the larynx downwards, where it bifurcates into the left and right main bronchi. These main bronchi then further subdivide into smaller and smaller bronchi and bronchioles, forming the bronchial tree.
Diseases and conditions affecting the tracheobronchial tree can manifest in various ways. Inflammation of the trachea
