In industrial settings, tracers can be employed to monitor the flow of liquids or gases in pipelines, detect leaks, or study mixing processes in chemical reactors. For instance, inert gases or specific chemical compounds might be used as tracers in industrial flow studies. The development of highly sensitive detection methods has made tracer techniques increasingly valuable for both research and practical problem-solving across numerous fields.
