tintin
Tintin is a fictional Belgian journalist and adventurer created by cartoonist Georges Remi, who wrote under the pen name Hergé. He first appeared in 1929 in the weekly youth supplement Le Petit Vingtième and became the hero of The Adventures of Tintin, later collected into 24 albums published by Casterman. The character is a young reporter who travels the world with his dog Snowy, solving mysteries and thwarting criminals. He is joined by recurring allies, notably Captain Haddock, and Professor Calculus; the detective duo Thomson and Thompson appear frequently as comic foils.
The artwork is characterized by the ligne claire or "clear line" style: clean, strong outlines and flat
Tintin has been adapted for television, film, and stage, including a long-running 1991 animated television series
