Tienvarsille is a small town and municipality in the fictional Nordic country of Nordmark, situated along the Lysa River in the eastern lowlands. It covers 38 square kilometers and has a population of about 4,200 as of 2023. The town sits at an elevation around 180 meters above sea level and experiences a temperate climate with cold winters and mild summers.

The name is derived from the local term tienvarsi, historically referring to a roadside settlement that served travelers between larger towns. The landscape includes river valleys, mixed forests, and several small lakes, with the Lysa River forming its northern boundary.

Historically, tienvarsille grew as an agrarian community in the 18th and 19th centuries, expanding into crafts and small-scale industry. It gained municipal status in 1925 and today is governed by a 15-member municipal council led by a mayor.

The economy centers on agriculture—dairy farming and barley—supplemented by wood products, local services, and tourism. The town hosts a summer market and a winter festival. It is connected by a regional road network and a rail line linking larger centers, with the nearest airport about 60 kilometers away.

Cultural life centers on the Harvest Festival in autumn, local folklore, and community libraries. Notable sites include Lake Sini Park, the Tienvarsillo Bridge, and the Old Mill Historic Site. The population speaks the official Nordmark language, with regional dialects and some multilingual households.
