tideffekter
Tideffekter refers to the various environmental phenomena and impacts that occur as a result of the gravitational pull of the Moon and, to a lesser extent, the Sun on Earth's oceans. These effects are most prominently observed in the rise and fall of sea levels, known as tides. The rhythmic ebb and flow of tides create distinct intertidal zones, areas of the coastline that are exposed during low tide and submerged during high tide. These zones are dynamic ecosystems, supporting unique flora and fauna adapted to fluctuating salinity and submersion.
Beyond sea level changes, tideffekter also influence coastal currents. The movement of vast volumes of water
