Természetesek is the plural form of the Hungarian adjective természetes, meaning natural, innate, or ordinary. As a standalone term it is not a standard entry in Hungarian encyclopedias; it appears mainly as a plural adjective or in headings where the noun it modifies is understood from context. Consequently, its precise meaning depends on the surrounding text and is not fixed.

In mathematics, the conventional term for the counting numbers is természetes számok, often denoted by N. Different authors disagree on whether zero belongs to N; some include 0 (often written N0 or N∪{0}), while others start at 1 (N). The form természetesek might be encountered only as an informal shorthand in notes or informal writing to mean the natural numbers, but this usage is nonstandard and discouraged in formal contexts.

In legal and civil terminology, természetes személyek refers to human beings with civil rights; this is the standard expression, not természetesek. The opposite category—legal entities—are called jogi személyek. Thus, természetesek by itself is unlikely to appear in formal legal language.

In everyday Hungarian, természetes describes something that exists in nature or is normal by nature, as in természetes élőhely (natural habitat) or természetes szín (natural color). The plural term would require a noun to modify, such as természetes élőlények (natural living beings); more concise usage often avoids a standalone természetesek.
