Termoplastok are a type of plastic that becomes permanently softened when heated and hardens when cooled. This process of softening and hardening can be repeated multiple times without significant degradation of the material's properties. The molecular structure of termoplastok is characterized by long, linear polymer chains that are held together by weak intermolecular forces, such as van der Waals forces. When heat is applied, these forces weaken, allowing the polymer chains to slide past one another, resulting in a fluid or softened state. Upon cooling, the intermolecular forces reassert themselves, locking the chains into a rigid structure.
