Temö is a fictional mineral central to the geology and technology of the world of Eldoria. It is known for its ability to store and release energy and for emitting a soft glow when exposed to ambient mana. The term temö appears in several languages of the world and has multiple spellings; within the Eldorian languages it's derived from tem- “breath” and -ö “light,” though this is etymology within the lore.

Temö forms prismatic crystals, usually colorless or pale blue, with a glassy luster. It has a high energy density and a unique luminescent response to electromagnetic-like fields; when heated or energized gently, it emits light in a spectrum similar to dawn.

Temö is primarily found in the Temö Rift, a network of quartz-veined caves in the northern highlands of Sirelia. It is relatively rare and difficult to extract without damaging its structure; mining requires careful cooling and stabilization.

Temö is used as a power source for arcane devices, energy storage for star-lanterns, and as a focus in runic inscriptions. In artisanal crafts, temö crystals are cut into talismans believed to balance mood and clarity.
