Telep is a term used mainly in science fiction and speculative discussions to designate a class of phenomena or technologies associated with distance—such as teleportation or telepathy. Unlike established scientific terms, telep does not refer to a single, universally defined concept; its meaning varies by author, franchise, or community.

In fictional contexts, telep may denote devices, abilities, or networks that enable instant relocation, remote sensing, or mind-to-mind communication.
