Telefonil is the adessive singular form of the Estonian noun telefon (phone). In Estonian grammar, the adessive case, marked by the suffix -il, is used to indicate location on or at a surface or object, as well as to describe possession or a state associated with the noun.

First, it can denote physical location or association with a phone, such as saying that something is located on the phone or that an action involves the phone.
