tasohöylä
A tasohöylä, also known as a block plane, is a small hand plane typically held in one hand. It is characterized by its low blade angle, usually between 12 and 20 degrees, which allows it to shave thin layers of wood effectively. The body of the plane is often made of metal, such as cast iron, and is rectangular in shape. The blade, or cutting iron, is set into a recess at the front of the body and is held in place by a cap iron or lever cap.
Tasohöylät are commonly used for tasks such as trimming end grain, chamfering edges, and fitting small pieces
