Tärinävärähtelijä is a Finnish term that translates to "vibration oscillator" or "chattering oscillator" in English. It refers to a type of electronic oscillator circuit that produces a continuous, oscillating waveform by utilizing the mechanical vibration of a component, often a relay or a reed switch. Unlike purely electronic oscillators that rely on capacitor-resistor or inductor-capacitor networks, tärinävärähtelijä circuits incorporate a mechanical element that physically moves back and forth.

The operation typically involves a coil that is energized, causing a mechanical component to move.
