Sýslulögreglur are local police authorities in Iceland. The term translates to "district police" or "county police," reflecting their historical and geographical organization. Iceland's police system is centralized under the National Police Commissioner, but the operational units are organized into districts. These districts, historically corresponding to the old counties (sýslur), are where the sýslulögreglur operate.

Each sýsla, or district, has its own police force, led by a chief of police who is also often the sýslumaður, a historical title for a district commissioner.
