Színmegfelelés is a Hungarian term that translates to "color matching" or "color fidelity." It refers to the process of ensuring that colors appear as consistently as possible across different devices, media, and viewing conditions. This is crucial in fields such as graphic design, photography, printing, and video production where accurate color representation is essential for the final product.

The challenge of színmegfelelés lies in the fact that different devices, like monitors, printers, and cameras, reproduce color in fundamentally different ways. Monitors typically use an additive color model (RGB - Red, Green, Blue), while printers often use a subtractive color model (CMYK - Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black).
