The data model in SynCentral captures entries at the word or lemma level, with senses, part-of-speech tags, and relations such as synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms, hypernyms, and related terms. Each entry includes usage notes, example sentences, and provenance metadata describing its source, date of inclusion, and confidence.

SynCentral is designed as an open platform with a modular architecture. Core components include a data store, a schema for lexical entries, an API for programmatic access, and a user interface for curators. Data can be exported in standard formats such as JSON-LD, RDF, and CSV, with versioning and change history to support reproducibility.
