suudaksid

Suudaksid is an Estonian finite verb form that corresponds to the English “you could” or “you would be able to.” It is the second-person singular present conditional form of the verb suudama (to kiss) in the Estonian verb system and is used to express hypothetical ability, possibility, or polite requests.

In practice, suudaksid marks that the action described in the following verb is contingent or potential, rather than certain. It commonly appears in conditional clauses introduced by kui, or in direct requests that soften a statement. For example: “Kui sa suudaksid mind aidata, oleks situatsioon parem” (If you could help me, the situation would be better) or simply “Sa suudaksid tulla” (You could come).
