Spoleförhållande, often translated as "spool relationship" or "coil relationship" in English, is a concept used in the context of electrical engineering, particularly in the design and analysis of inductors and transformers. It refers to the geometric arrangement and interaction between multiple coils wound on a common core or in close proximity. This relationship is crucial for determining the magnetic coupling between coils, which in turn affects inductance, mutual inductance, and overall device performance.

The spoleförhållande is influenced by factors such as the number of turns in each coil, the diameter and length of the coils, the distance between them, and the properties of the magnetic core material. When coils are wound on the same core, they can exhibit strong magnetic coupling, meaning that a change in current in one coil induces a significant voltage in the other.
