Spektraalriba refers to a specific range of wavelengths within the electromagnetic spectrum. These ranges are defined based on the energy and frequency of the electromagnetic radiation, which determine its properties and how it interacts with matter.

Different spektraalribad have distinct names and applications. For instance, the visible light spectrum, a small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, is what humans perceive as color.
