soldierb is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer Geoff Johns and artist Rags Morales and first appeared in Infinite Crisis #3 in January 2006. Soldierb is depicted as a former Soviet soldier who gained superpowers during the Cold War.

His origins are tied to a clandestine Soviet program designed to create super-powered soldiers to combat American metahumans. During an experiment involving a modified version of the "Super Soldier Serum" that created Captain America, the subject, a Soviet soldier named Boris, was infused with enhanced strength, speed, durability, and reflexes. He was trained to be a ruthless operative, loyal to the Soviet Union.

Following the dissolution of the Soviet Union, soldierb became a mercenary and later a member of the Society, a group of villains led by Alexander Luthor Jr. during the Infinite Crisis event. His motivations have often been driven by a sense of duty and a pragmatic approach to conflict, sometimes clashing with more idealistic heroes. soldierb's powers make him a formidable opponent, capable of engaging in direct combat with many of DC's most powerful heroes.
