Sluoksnius are a geological concept referring to the distinct, vertically stacked units of rock or sediment known as layers or strata. They form a bedding sequence that records changes in sediment supply, energy conditions, climate, and other environmental factors over time. The term is used in Lithuanian geology, with sluoksnis meaning layer, and sluoksniai the plural.

The appearance and composition of sluoksniai vary: some are thick and uniform (for example shale or sandstone packages), others are thin and alternated (for example limestone interbedded with shale). Primary layering forms during deposition and lithification, while secondary layering can arise from processes such as metamorphism (foliation) or tectonic deformation that reorient or rework existing rocks.
