For instance, in the sentence "Olen iloinen, jos aurinko paistaa" (I am happy if the sun shines), the clause "jos aurinko paistaa" is a sisältöriippulause because the happiness is contingent upon the sun shining. Without the sun, the happiness, as stated, would not occur.

Another example could be "Emme menneet ulos, koska satoi kaatamalla" (We didn't go out because it was raining heavily). Here, the reason for not going out is the heavy rain, making the clause "koska satoi kaatamalla" a sisältöriippulause explaining the cause. These clauses are crucial for constructing complex sentences that convey nuanced relationships between different parts of the statement, allowing for the expression of conditions, reasons, and concessions.
