Siseveete is a monotypic genus of flowering plants in the family Sapotaceae, described from specimens collected on the island chain of Nalore. The sole species, Siseveete insulae, is an evergreen tree associated with lowland tropical forests. The genus name is derived from the local Nyamiri language, combining elements meaning “inner” and “wood” to reflect its dense heartwood.
Siseveete insulae grows to about 8–12 meters in height, with a dense crown and smooth, grey bark.
