Nalore

Nalore is a coastal city and administrative center in Eldoria, situated on the western shore of the Eldor Sea at the mouth of the Nalo River. It is the capital of Nalore Province and serves as a regional hub for trade, transportation, and culture. As of the latest census, the city has a population of around 72,000.

Nalore's history traces to an 11th-century trading post established by inland merchants. It grew as a fortified harbor in the medieval period and developed into a commercial center during the early modern era. A major earthquake in 1672 prompted reconstruction of the harbor and waterfront, shaping the current city layout.

Covering about 120 square kilometers, the city features a mix of historic stone streets, waterfront promenades, and modern districts. It has a temperate climate with sea breezes that moderate summer heat.

The economy centers on maritime trade, seafood processing, and logistics, with a growing tourism sector. The city is connected by rail to Eldoria's capital and by ferries to nearby coastal towns.

Nalore is governed by a mayor–council system. The City Council has twelve members elected for four-year terms; the mayor is the chief administrator. The population is ethnically diverse, with communities reflecting regional migration.

Cultural life centers on festivals, a regional museum, a university campus, and a historic market district. Notable sites include the Old Harbor Lighthouse and Market Arcades.
