silmäpallo
Silmäpallo is the Finnish word for eyeball. It refers to the spherical organ responsible for vision. The human eyeball is a complex structure filled with various components that work together to detect light and transmit visual information to the brain. Key parts of the silmäpallo include the cornea, the transparent outer layer that covers the iris and pupil; the iris, which controls the size of the pupil and thus the amount of light entering the eye; and the pupil, the dark opening in the center of the iris.
Inside the silmäpallo are the lens, which focuses light onto the retina; the retina, a light-sensitive layer
