Sidostaa is a Finnish art rock band formed in 1980 in Joensuu, Finland. The band's original lineup consisted of Pekka "Peki" Korhonen, Tony Nygård, Matti Lehtinen, Ari Kantola, and Vesa Salo. Over the years, Sidostaa has undergone several lineup changes, with Peki Korhonen being the primary driving force behind the band.

Sidostaa's music style is characterized by complex arrangements, atmospheric soundscapes, and an emphasis on guitarist Pekka Korhonen's intricate playing techniques. Their early work was heavily influenced by the art rock and progressive rock movements of the 1970s, with artists such as Genesis, King Crimson, and Van der Graaf Generator being notable influences.
