Sido is the stage name of Paul Würdig, a German rapper and actor born in East Berlin in 1980. He rose to prominence in the German hip hop scene in the early 2000s as a member of the underground collective Die Sekte. Known for performing with a metal skull mask, he adopted the Sido persona and released his debut album Maske in 2004 on the Aggro Berlin label.
