Seronegatiflik refers to a condition where a person tests negative for specific antibodies in their blood, despite exhibiting symptoms suggestive of a particular disease or condition. This can occur in various medical contexts, including infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders.

In the realm of infectious diseases, seronegativity might mean that antibodies have not yet developed to a detectable level, even though the infection is present. This is often seen in the early stages of an illness, a phenomenon known as the "window period." In such cases, other diagnostic methods like PCR or antigen tests may be necessary to confirm the infection.
