A sentralstøvsuger, also known as a central vacuum system, is a built-in cleaning appliance installed in a building. The system consists of a central power unit, typically located in a basement, garage, or utility room, connected to a network of pipes embedded within the walls. These pipes run to inlet valves located in various rooms throughout the building. When cleaning, a flexible hose is plugged into one of these inlet valves, activating the central unit. Dust and debris are then sucked through the pipes and collected in a large receptacle at the power unit.
