semiallogeneic
Semiallogeneic describes a genetic relationship between donor and recipient in transplantation and immunology in which the two individuals share some, but not all, histocompatibility antigens. The term is typically applied to tissues or cells that are not from the same individual (autologous) or fully genetically non-identical (allogeneic) but are partially compatible, most often in reference to major histocompatibility complex (MHC) antigens.
In practical terms, semiallogeneic grafts arise when donor and recipient are only partially histocompatible, such as
Clinical and research relevance varies by context. In hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, semiallogeneic or haploidentical donors
