Sekoitusventtiili, known in English as a mixing valve, is a mechanical device used to regulate the temperature of fluids, most commonly water. Its primary function is to combine hot and cold water streams in precise proportions to achieve a desired output temperature. This is particularly important in domestic hot water systems where delivering water that is too hot can pose a scalding risk.
