Satisficingkonsepti, often shortened to satisficing, is a decision-making strategy where an individual seeks a solution that is "good enough" rather than one that is optimal or perfect. This concept was introduced by Herbert Simon in his work on bounded rationality. Unlike traditional economic models that assume rational agents strive to maximize their utility or find the absolute best option, satisficing acknowledges the limitations of human cognitive abilities, time, and information.

When faced with complex decisions, individuals often set aspiration levels or criteria for what constitutes an acceptable outcome. They then search for options until they find one that meets these minimum requirements. Once a satisfactory option is found, the search process is terminated, even if better alternatives might exist. This approach is particularly prevalent when the cost of further searching or the potential gains from finding a superior solution are perceived to be low.
