Saromeerit is a rare mineral described in geological literature as a distinct silicate phase. The name derives from the Sarome region where the type material was first reported, and it is frequently cited in discussions of high-temperature metamorphic and hydrothermal minerals.

Chemical composition and structure are described as primarily silicate with aluminum and calcium as major constituents, plus trace iron and titanium. Reported physical properties include a pale green to gray color, a vitreous to pearly luster, and a Mohs hardness estimated around 5.5 to 6.0. Crystallographic data are limited because only a few crystals have been recovered.

Occurrence and formation: Saromeerit is reported from hydrothermal veins in ultramafic or serpentinized rocks, typically in zones of alkaline alteration. It is found in association with serpentine, magnetite, calcite, and other silicate minerals.
