salaat
Salaat, also known as Namaz in some cultures, is the ritual prayer performed by Muslims. It is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, signifying its fundamental importance in the faith. Muslims pray five times a day at prescribed times: Fajr (dawn), Dhuhr (noon), Asr (afternoon), Maghrib (sunset), and Isha (night). Each prayer consists of a series of prescribed movements and recitations from the Quran.
The ritual begins with ablution, known as Wudu, a purification process involving washing specific body parts.
