ruglast
Ruglast is a genus of fungi in the family Morchellaceae. The genus was first described by Gyelnik in 1923. The common ruglast mushroom, more commonly known as the true truffle (Tuber melanosporum), is the most widely cultivated species of the genus. However, evidence suggests that ruglast species could also refer to more than one distinct genus within the Morchellaceae family. Furthermore, it has been argued whether Tuber melanosporum is indeed part of the ruglast genus.
Ruglast species are prized for their edible, prized truffles. However, the harvesting and trading of these truffles
These fungi are notable for their differing appearance in terms of colors, shapes, skin texture, and size.
