ruajtjen
Ruajtjen is a small settlement located in the northern part of the country within the jurisdiction of the municipality of Kukës, in the Kukës County. The village lies at an elevation of approximately 650 metres above sea level and is situated near the banks of the Drin River, providing a modest amount of agricultural land and forested areas surrounding the area. According to the most recent census conducted in 2011, the population of Ruajtjen was recorded at around 240 inhabitants, predominantly belonging to the Albanian ethnic group, with a minority of Bosniak residents. The community is known for its traditional architecture, featuring stone-built houses with slate roofs that reflect the regional style of the Drin Valley.
