Rovar growth refers to the developmental process that insects undergo from the embryonic stage to adulthood. Insects exhibit a variety of growth patterns, the most common of which are complete metamorphosis and incomplete metamorphosis. In complete metamorphosis (holometaboly), an insect progresses through four distinct stages: egg, larva, pupa and adult. The larval stage is usually a feeding and growth phase, after which the insect enters a non‑feeding pupal stage where it undergoes extensive reorganization of tissues and organ systems. The adult emerges fully formed, having developed all of the adult structures necessary for reproduction and dispersal.
In incomplete metamorphosis (hemimetaboly), the insect develops through egg, nymph, and adult stages. Nymphs resemble miniature
Hormonal regulation, primarily by juvenile hormone and ecdysone, plays a pivotal role in determining the timing
