razdiobu
Razdiobu is a historical term in Slavic languages, commonly transliterated as razdiobu from Russian razdobycha or Ukrainian rozdib, that denotes the act of obtaining valuables by force after a military encounter. In this sense it is closely linked to spoils of war or loot, and it can also refer to the distribution of such spoils among members of an army or faction. The root verb razdobyvatʹ means to acquire or seize by force, and the noun form describes the accumulated loot.
