quasitopology
Quasitopology is a field of mathematics that studies generalized topological spaces. Unlike traditional topological spaces, which are defined by a collection of open sets, quasitopological spaces relax certain axioms. Specifically, the union of any two open sets is required to be open, but the union of an arbitrary collection of open sets is not necessarily open. Similarly, the intersection of two open sets is always open, but the intersection of an arbitrary collection of open sets is not necessarily open.
The concept of quasitopology arises in various areas of mathematics, including theoretical computer science and abstract
Quasitopology allows for the study of structures that do not fit neatly into the classical topological framework.
