Przerzuca is a village situated in east‑central Poland. Administratively it belongs to Gmina Suchożebry within Siedlce County, which is part of the Masovian Voivodeship. The settlement lies approximately 9 km north of Suchożebry, 17 km north‑west of Siedlce, and 81 km east of Warsaw. Its geographic coordinates are roughly 52°13′N 21°35′E. The village sits on gently rolling terrain typical of the Masovian plains, with the surrounding landscape dominated by mixed forests and agricultural fields.

The origins of Przerzuca trace back to the late medieval period, though the first written mention appears in a 15th‑century land register. Its name likely derives from the Polish verb “przerzucać,” referring to the movement of soil or water in the area’s drier, loess‑rich soils, or metaphorically to the frequent flood‑driven reshaping of local landscape. Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries the village remained a small, agrarian community, largely self‑sufficient and linked to the nearby manor estates. During the interwar era it experienced modest population growth, while the Second World War brought temporary occupation and disruption of local agriculture.

In the postwar period, Przerzuca was incorporated into the Polish People's Republic’s system of collective farming. The 1960s saw the establishment of a local cooperative that organized grain production and livestock rearing. After the fall of communism, the cooperative dissolved and the village returned to municipal management. As of the latest national census, the population stands at approximately 250 residents, with a predominantly Polish ethnic composition and a traditional Roman Catholic faith predominant. The village features a small community church, a primary school, and a volunteer fire department, which serves as a central hub for local events and emergency services.
