Prohlásím is a Czech verb form meaning “I will declare” or “I shall declare.” It is the first-person singular future tense of the verb prohlásit, which means to declare, proclaim, or announce publicly. The form is used when the speaker commits to making a declaration in the future.

Etymology and form: Prohlásit is a perfective verb built from the prefix pro- attached to hlásit (to announce). The root hlás- is related to words for voice or announcing, and the prefix pro- adds a sense of completion or emphasis, yielding a definitive, future action.
