Politaoke, also known as Politaoke machine, is a concept design for a machine that uses automation and Artificial intelligence (AI) to generate mock discourse surrounding a given topic or subject. According to its developers, the Politaoke machine uses machine learning algorithms to generate multiple iterations of differing views, each tailored to fit a particular slant or theme. This is thought to offer a way to critique, aggregate and highlight ongoing media and societal commentary. Construction of the Politaoke device, rather than merely a software or app, originated as creative tool meant more towards spectating use rather than diagnostic critique, useful perhaps best by creating or leading critique.
