Plasmaskærmene, often referred to as plasma displays, are a type of flat-panel display technology that uses small cells containing plasma. These cells are typically made of two glass panels separated by a small gap. Within this gap, a mixture of noble gases, such as neon and xenon, is introduced. When an electric voltage is applied to electrodes within the cells, the gas mixture is ionized, creating a plasma. This plasma then emits ultraviolet light.
